Safety is core to ReMynd Student Services Hong Kong's mission, and we are committed to creating a secure and responsible environment for all users of our tools and services. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to anyone who uses ReMynd Student Services Hong Kong's products and services and is designed to ensure the responsible and appropriate use of our offerings.

 

If we become aware that your product or usage violates this AUP, we may issue a warning requesting a change in your behavior, adjust the safety settings of your in-product experience, or suspend your access to our tools and services.

 

It is important to note that while ReMynd Student Services Hong Kong strives to provide accurate and helpful information, as an AI system, our responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies, biases, or harmful content. We encourage users to independently verify the information provided and report any inaccuracies, biases, or harmful content to us at [Email].

 

Prohibited Uses:

We strictly prohibit the use of our products and services for any of the following:

 

1. Abusive or fraudulent content:

- Promoting or facilitating the generation or distribution of spam

- Generating content for fraudulent activities, scams, phishing, or malware

- Compromising security or gaining unauthorized access to computer systems or networks, including spoofing and social engineering

- Violating the security, integrity, or availability of any user, network, computer, or communications system, software application, or network or computing device

- Violating any individual's privacy rights as defined in applicable privacy law

- Inappropriately using confidential or personal information

- Interfering with or negatively impacting ReMynd Student Services Hong Kong's products or services

- Utilizing prompts and results to train an AI model (e.g., "model scraping")

 

2. Child sexual exploitation or abuse content:

- Generating, promoting, or distributing any content that exploits or abuses minors, including grooming, pedophilia, or nudity

 

3. Deceptive or misleading content:

- Impersonating a human by presenting results as human-generated or using results to deceive natural persons into believing they are communicating with a human

- Engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior or disinformation campaigns

- Targeting or tracking a person's location, behavior, or communication without their consent

- Generating deceptive or misleading comments or reviews

- Engaging in multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes

- Plagiarizing or engaging in other forms of academic dishonesty

 

4. Illegal or highly regulated goods or services content:

- Engaging in any illegal activity

- Providing instructions on how to create or facilitate the exchange of illegal substances or goods

- Encouraging or providing instructions on how to engage in or facilitate illegal services, such as human trafficking or prostitution

- Designing, marketing, distributing or utilizing weapons, explosives, dangerous materials, or other systems intended to cause harm or loss of human life

- Providing instructions on how to commit or facilitate any type of crime

- Gambling or betting on sports

 

5. Psychologically or emotionally harmful content:

- Encouraging or engaging in any form of self-harm

- Shaming, humiliating, bullying, celebrating the suffering of, or harassing individuals

 

6. Sexually explicit content:

- Generating pornographic content or content meant for sexual gratification, including content that describes sexual intercourse, sexual acts, or sexual fetishes

- Engaging in erotic chats

 

7. Violent, hateful, or threatening content:

- Threatening, inciting, promoting, or actively encouraging violence or acts of terrorism

- Describing, encouraging, supporting, or providing instructions on how to commit violent acts against persons, animals, or property

- Encouraging hate speech or engaging in discriminatory practices based on protected attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or any other identifying trait

 

Prohibited Business Use Cases:

In addition to the above use cases, we prohibit businesses from using our products and tools for any of the following:

 

1. Political campaigning or lobbying:

- Creating targeted campaigns to influence the outcome of elections or referendums

- Political advocacy or lobbying

 

2. Covertly tracking, targeting, or surveilling individuals:

- Searching for or gathering information on an individual or group to track, target, or report on their identity

- Using the product for facial recognition, covert tracking, battlefield management applications, or predictive policing

 

3. Social scoring:

- Utilizing ReMynd Student Services Hong Kong to assign scores or ratings to individuals based on an assessment of their trustworthiness or social behavior without their expressed written consent.

 

4. Criminal justice decisions:

- Using ReMynd Student Services Hong Kong for eligibility decisions related to parole or sentencing

 

5. Automated determination of financing eligibility of individuals:

- Making automated decisions about the eligibility of individuals for financial products and creditworthiness

 

6. Automated determination of employment and housing decisions:

- Making automated decisions about employability or other employment determinations, including eligibility for housing such as leases and home loans

 

7. Any law enforcement application:

- Except for specific permitted applications by law enforcement organizations, such as back-office uses including call center support, document summarization, and accounting, or analysis of data for the location of missing persons and other applications that do not impair the liberty, civil liberties, or human rights of natural persons.

 

Additional Requirements for Businesses:

If your business is using or deploying our tools and services as part of providing legal, medical, or financial advice to consumers, we require that you implement the additional safety measures listed below:

Human-in-the-loop: any content that is provided to your consumers must be reviewed by a qualified professional in that field prior to dissemination. Your business is responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of that information.

Disclosure: you must disclose to your customers that you are using our services to help inform your decisions or recommendations.

Finally, if your business is using or deploying our products as part of an automated service where your external customers or users interact directly with our products, for example chatbots, you must disclose to your users that they are interacting with an AI system rather than a human.
